With 3000 lakes and ponds and 32,000 miles of rivers and stream, Maine is a fishermans delight With salmon,trout,lake trout,bass and many more the possiblies are endless. For the hunter there is bear,moose,whitetail deer,upland gamebird and water fowl. Maine large land owners give free access of there land to hunters* and with all the logging roads getting to the woods is easy I have been a Register Maine Guide for 4 years, but i grew up in the woods because my father and grandfather were guides. So I dont measure my abilties by the number of years that I have had a guides license. I enjoy the outdoors and that what its all about. Of course bagging the big one helps.
